What Quilt says about its own system
Quilt makes a ductless heat pump that heats and cools a home from one all-electric system. Everything in this section is Quilt’s claim about its product, quoted as Quilt words it. We are passing it on, not certifying it ourselves, so check the details with Quilt or with us before you decide.
Efficiency
Quilt rates the system at Up to 25 SEER2 and 12 HSPF2, and describes that as a new standard for ductless heat pumps.
Cold weather
According to Quilt, the system “Maintains 100% heating capacity in sub-zero temperatures”, which it calls cold-climate certified.
Warranty
Quilt states the system is “Backed by a 12-year system warranty”. Ask us for the terms before you sign anything.
Indoor unit size
Quilt says its indoor units are just 7 ⅞ inches tall, small enough to sit above doors and windows, with front covers that can be painted or wallpapered.

Control, sensing and updates
Quilt describes a system you steer room by room instead of from one thermostat in the hall. Three features carry most of that pitch, and all three are Quilt’s description of its own product.
Room-by-room control
You set each room using the Quilt Dial or the Quilt App, so different rooms can hold different temperatures.
Occupancy detection
Quilt says radar-powered occupancy detection adjusts heating and cooling when a room is empty.
Over-the-air updates
According to Quilt, software updates arrive over the air and continue to improve performance, efficiency and features without a service visit.

After the install you deal with the same local company, with two Springdale locations and hours of Monday to Sunday, 7 AM to 7 PM.
