What is different about air quality in a shared building
A shared building breathes differently from a house. People come and go all day, doors open to the street, and one ventilation system moves air past desks, break rooms, storage areas and sometimes light industrial activity. Dust, pollen, cooking odors, cleaning products and particles from equipment all end up in the same airstream. More people means more of everything, and an HVAC system set up only to heat and cool does little about any of it.
The signs are usually plain: heavy dust on surfaces and vents, staff who report allergy or asthma symptoms at work, and musty smells or visible mould where humidity runs high. Mould points to moisture as much as to air quality, so a good assessment looks at both. Commercial air purification is built into the HVAC system, so it treats the air as it circulates through the building.

How we size purification to the space and its occupancy
Sizing depends on floor area, ceiling height, how many people are in the building, what they do there and how much outside air the system brings in. We begin by meeting you to talk through your priorities, then evaluate the existing system, because purification has to work with the air handlers, duct layout and airflow already in place. Where the space demands it, the design is made specific to the building before anything is installed.
On installation day the technicians arrive with the materials and equipment, and the lead installer walks you through the work before it starts. Components go into the HVAC system where they will treat the air that actually moves through the building, and we take the measures needed to protect your building while we work. Larger buildings may need treatment on more than one level or air handler, and we plan for that at the start.
Chapter 03
How to maintain it across a working year
Purification is only as good as its upkeep. Filters loaded with dust restrict airflow and stop capturing, and lamps and other consumable parts have service lives that depend on the hours your building runs. Build the replacement dates into your maintenance calendar, and keep the part information with the building's records so that anyone on your team can order the right item when the date comes around.
Watch the building for changes. If dust returns quickly, a smell appears or humidity climbs in a summer month, tell us, because those are signals about the system or the moisture around it. Two maintenance visits a year, the same rhythm as the rest of your HVAC equipment, is a sensible baseline.
