Without central control, every unit runs on its own clock. How we install automation and controls on existing equipment
We begin with an estimate visit from licensed specialists, who evaluate the equipment you already have and collect what the installation team will need: unit types, control connections, sensor locations and how each zone is used. That visit is the basis of the quote, and it is why installation day goes to plan. Nothing about controls is guessed from a distance, because a controller that does not match the equipment it commands causes more trouble than no controller.
You review the quote, then choose from the dates we offer, and we may call ahead on the day so someone is there to meet the crew. The lead installer explains the whole process before work begins. The team then prepares the equipment, runs wiring, mounts sensors and thermostats, connects the controller to the units and tests each sequence. The equipment you already own is the starting point, and the aim is a system that runs as one.

How to use the controls once they are running
Controls only pay off when someone uses them. Start by setting occupied and unoccupied schedules that match how the building really works, then check that each zone holds its setpoint. Resist the urge to set a very wide swing to save energy, since an uncomfortable building costs more in lost work than it saves. Set alarms for the conditions that matter, such as a unit that has stopped, so a fault is reported instead of found.
Review the data once a season. If a zone keeps drifting, your readings usually show whether the cause is a setting, a sensor or the equipment itself, and Anderson Air can help sort out which. Keep a written list of who is allowed to change setpoints, so schedules are not overwritten by whoever felt warm last.
